BudWave: an earbuds battery widget for Android.

BudWave is a small Android app that shows per-bud and case battery levels for popular wireless earbuds. It reads the standard Bluetooth Low Energy battery information that earbuds broadcast and presents it in a Material You home-screen widget.

What BudWave shows.

  • Left, right and case values. Shown separately when the earbuds report them, with a charging indicator for each.
  • Material You widget. Adapts to the system theme on Android 12 and later.
  • Broad earbud support. Works with popular models from Apple, Samsung, Google, Sony, JBL and Bose that broadcast battery information over Bluetooth Low Energy.
  • Offline by design. No account, no analytics, no advertising SDKs.
